#Blogjune 13 – Road trippin’ pt. 4

I’m sitting in Avalon airport, ready to go back to Sydney. Our plane has been delayed and there is free wifi here, so all I figured it’s blog post time.

Today was the final part of our holiday, and the day were we did the thing that was actually the whole excuse for the entire trip: the final inspection of an investment property that we have purchased in Geelong.

Other than that, we explored a few places in and around Geelong. We had a look at the beaches at Torquay, Ocean Grove. The personal highlight for me was the Split Point Lighthouse in Aireys Inlet, famous of course for being the lighthouse in Round the Twist.

Have you ever… Ever felt like this?

Overall it was an awesome trip, and a great way to spend the long weekend. It went very quickly – bit of a whirlwind – so if we ever do it again we would take a bit more time, because there is plenty to do and see. I’ll wake up tomorrow and it will be back to work… Back to reality. Definitely worth doing again.

    1. Awesome! I’ve got a box set of the DVDs, probably still in its plastic wrapping. It’s a childhood fave but it’s been so many years since I’ve seen it. Really in the mood to watch it now!
